Brill's new open access policy

Brill's new open access policy. What do you make of this?

  1. Seems rather enlightened, especially being able to post the printed version (i.e., the journal's page layout) on a personal website. And being able to serve post-referreed book manuscripts is fantastic. Not quite up to the Oriental Institute gold standard, but still, more enlightened than most.

  2. But the apparent prohibition on serving a paginated version from an institutional repository is not good at all.
